Triyoga

On the second floor of the Kingly Court complex off Carnaby Street, Triyoga offers busy city people a refuge where they can centre themselves. One of three London Triyoga Centres - there are others in Primrose Hill and Covent Garden - this central Soho branch is brilliant if you want to escape the city by dropping in for a yoga session after work. The classes are scheduled to take place throughout the day so you can visit any time from 6.30am (to set yourself up at start the day) to 8.30pm. Classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced, and from Iyenga to Ashtanga. They also do specialised sessions for pregnant women, toddlers and kids. After work classes do get busy but there is room for everyone and the teachers take the time to walk around the class, checking on everyone's positions - especially good if you're a beginner. If you can commit to more than a class, there's an interesting choice of workshops and 6-week courses to enrol on. Importantly, and in keeping with the spirit of yoga, the vibe is friendly and unpretentious.
