The latest creation from the organisation behind The Ivy, Le Caprice and The Wolseley is this fabulously luxurious fish restaurant. Scott's was originally an oyster warehouse, but the only signs of its industrial heritage now are the huge platters of oysters waiting on the seafood counter to be snapped up by one of the pinstriped clientele. The restaurant gained fabulous word-of-mouth when it opened because, due to a licensing problem, they spent three weeks unable to charge for food. Having given away ?350,000 of free meals, they are now making their money back fast, and getting a table is a tricky proposition. Once you're in however, there are some real culinary treats in store, with breathtakingly fresh fish prepared simply and presented beautifully.Scott's images
