Though it was the neighbourhood Italian restaurant that first lifetd the English out of their culinary torpor, top class restaurants tend to take their influences from France, the far East and British tradition, rather than Il Bel Paese.
This buzzy little Sardinuian restaurant ias one of the few exceptions, and has earned itself a large regular crowd with its combination of high street Italian favourites (crab linguini, beef carpaccio), and interesting seasonal specialities.
Excellent wine, sensible prices and a pleasant white-walled interior combine in a restaurant which is always a pleasure.
