Learn some crafty manouveurs at Making Space where classes on mask making, glass engraving, pyrography (burning patterns into wood or leather), chainmail knitting, and book hollowing are just some of the unusual skills on offer. The work space, close to Shoreditch and run by RADA-trained prop maker Simon Aronson, also offers seasonal workshops so at Halloween you can learn how to create a pumpkin face, and at Christmas, tree decorations are made with the help of a glass blowing expert so you can make your own baubles. All the workshops run by Making Space are suitable for all levels of artistic ability so even if you haven't picked up a paint brush in years you can still get involved.
