London area of Victoria guide
What to do and where to stay in London's Victoria neighbourhood
Victoria is the area of London around Victoria Station in the City of Westminster borough. The area is dominated by the train and international coach stations on Buckingham Palace Road. The district consists predominantly of commercial property and social housing, with offices (including the new state-of-the-art offices of The Telegraph newspaper) and shops (including a major shopping complex at Cardinal Place) lining most of the thoroughfares. Little Ben, a small 20 foot version of St Stephen's Tower, stands by the station in the shadow of the Victoria Palace Theatre, which has shown musicals such as Billy Elliot and Grease. Nearby Belgravia boasts some very nice shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
